How many people can claim they starred in one of the worst films ever made? That's right friends... I'm the screaming, whining 10 year old "Joshua" from the film Troll 2 and here I find myself 18 years later - from Nilbog to Myspace... only the power of goodness could be responsible.
Truthfully, I used to run and hide from my involvement with Troll 2. I used to get squeamish when I heard someone call out the name "jooossshua". I’d have nightmares where I would wake up sweating chlorophyll green. I swore that one day I would eradicate every copy of the movie. But, within the last year, I've realized that Troll 2 is not just any other bad movie... Troll 2 is the BEST WORST MOVIE .
Today, I stand proudly (on top of your dinner table) with a double-decker bologna sandwich in hand. Troll 2 is truly a cinematic and awe-inspiring masterpiece of b-movie magic. Surprisingly, my involvement in Troll 2 continues to provide me with many choice experiences - not too mention all of the new friends and relationships I've made along the way. Sure I've had other accomplishments (www.michaelpstephenson.com) , but everything else pales in comparison to peeing on dinner tables and running from midgets in potato sacks.
I continue to act and right now, I am writing/directing a documentary about Troll 2, called BEST WORST MOVIE . Over the course of the next several months, myself, alongside my other cast-mates are appearing at special Troll 2 screenings in theaters throughout the country. Make sure you check the website for Troll 2 news and updates. For the first time in history, Troll 2 is coming to a thEATre near you. Troll 2 on the big screen? Who would've ever guessed? However, please don't piss on our hospitality - my father won't allow it.
