The Greenman Festival in Turkey
The Greenman Family is traditionally based off of a TRIBAL or extended FAMILY model. This represents MULTIDIMENSIONAL relationships with members who flow in and out and revolve around a core grouping of friends and relatives whom come together at regularly scheduled events for fellowship and community spirit. As our membership is based on PERSONAL CHOICE, many of our members ebb and flow as personal time is taken to themselves, or that they leave on adventures or employment affairs.Being that the Greenman Family was founded as a Family based organization to nurture the communication and fellowship between our relations and whereas the Greenman Family is designed to be a FAMILY and has often been a surrogate family for its members over the years there is no attendance or kinship requirement to be considered a member of the Greenman Family, for in a true family, adoptions are always welcomed and a relative is not alienated for his absence, he is encouraged to become more active.Though many of our traditions are based in Euro-pagan traditions, all religions and ethnicities are welcomed and encouraged to participate.
