lots of different types of books and authors. here are a few of my favorites:"We're All Doing Time" by Boe Lozoff is a great spiritual book as is "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran, Natalie Angier's "Woman, An Intimate Geography, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Henry Miller, Terry Prachett, Diane Ackerman's Natural History books...never enough time for reading
