About Me

Welcome!!We used to be a troop here in Peoria, IL. Unfortunately, our dance teacher ended up getting busy with school and is unable to maintain a troop. We kept this site up to show people what Highland Dancing is.If you would like to learn more about Scottish Highland Dancing check out our blogs. We have a lot of information about Scottish dancing on them. We are here to spread the love and appreciation of Scottish Dancing and our Scottish Heritage. If you have any questions I am sure we will be able to answer them so just ask!! If you have questions about piping or Scottish heritage there's a good chance we can answer them or point you in the right direction to get it answered. If you are wanting lessons or dancers for your next event we can give you names of people to contact. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~LESSONS --You can contact our teacher Melody Legge on here or through her e-mail address, [email protected]. Even though she is not currently teaching she can get you in contact with a teacher near you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~This profile is maintained by Melody Legge.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

We would like to meet other Scottish dancers from all over. Anyone else that is friends of Scottish Dancing. We love to meet all sorts of people. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~In Loving Memory Of H. Donald Legge ~ 05.11.50-02.07.06~~ Donald was our dance teacher's father, the one who inspired her to dance. For the longest time he was our only dance piper. He taught so many the love and appreciation of Scottish heritage and Scottish Highland Dancing. He was always there for us and one of the best dancer dads and dance pipers there ever was. Thank you for everything. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed. You will always be our piper. Learn more about him by going to www.myspace.com/42ndpiper. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
