Adventures in drumming

About Me

I love drums. I love to play them. I love to build them and fix them. A lot of my life seems to focus on the world of drums from when I first picked up the sticks in the Junior High School band through the various bands I've played in, music college and now working in a music store. I've built drums from scratch, segment shell snare and 6-ply maple 4-pce, kit. I've fabricated some funky hardware bits and collected some pretty cool pieces in my travels. But obviously, it is the performance I love more than anything and am extremely thankful for all the experiences I've had touring across the country performing on big festival stages, in small town beer halls, recording demos and full albums and meeting a variety of characters in the process.
Here's a brief summary of what I've done. College, Athan Asia, Patrick's Hill, Reach of Imagination, The Faith, Suprafatal, Screwtape Lewis, Carson Cole, Doug Jenson, The Voodoo, Robin Kelly "A Night With You" Elvis Tribute, Neil MacDonald Band, Cinch, SuperSeed, Curtis Mulder, Patti Emme, Bruce Rawling, Pinner, The Tumblin' Dickweeds, Pinhead, Freddie and the Axemen, Trevor Finlay, Jets To Theory, Naughty Divas, The Great Escape, Fat Dave Crimewave, Granny Dynamite, Nervous Like Sheep, Bad Judgement
So, that's a good start as to some of the bands and artists, in no particular order, I've played or recorded with at some point as a drummer. Some, I've played with quite extensively while others may have been a single show or day in the studio. I'll fill in the blanks as time allows or if people request such information.
