Redfish performances have been experienced by western Canada for over 5 years now. The electricity in the music and energy of their live show is addictive. Redfish are sonically somewhere between U2 and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, yet retain their unique originality. Diverse styles ebb and flow within their songs, making mischievous musical sense that separates them from the pack.
The band’s hometown is Vernon, BC. Redfish have headlined outdoor BC festivals and shared the stage with the likes of Finger Eleven, Evanescence, Lou Gramm, The Trews, 54-40, Sloan, Seether, and the Northern Pikes. Redfish received the 2004 Group of the Year at the annual BC Music Magazine Awards after releasing their music video “Last Regrets†on Much Music the same year. Recently Redfish has been recording with Grammy winning producer Randy Cantor (Ricky Martin, Bon Jovi) and Grammy winning engineer Paul Santo (Aerosmith, Ringo Starr) on their sophomore album to be released this summer.
Redfish are set to hit the road after going to Nashville to finish the album. A nationwide tour is in the works for Canada, with future plans for the US, and overseas.
