About Me

... From the ashes of The Fat Dave Crime Wave comes the blues injection aptly named The Fat Dave Sound Wave. As a conscious effort to maintain the momentum attained in 'The Fat Dave Crime Wave' as well as trying to prevent too many people drawing too many comparisons to his former project, Fat Dave finds himself moving in a bluesier, rootsier... and more R&B direction.
Drawing some of his 'dirt under the fingernails' influence from the likes of Muddy Waters, Elmore James & Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac as well as the upbeat R&B flavour of Ray Charles, Otis Redding and Sam Cooke while maintaining the energy & rock & roll flavour he's acquired over the years and brings to every stage, Fat Dave aims to broaden his audience without alienating any of his current fans & followers.
The Fat Dave Sound Wave is dynamic and undeniable.
Dust off your turn-table... it won't be long before a record drops, and rest assured it'll be available on the only format that can handle it.
Bringin' it on home...
