About Me

Hollywood Gods were active in the Calgary punk scene beginning in 2005 and continued to play shows until mid 2009. The band was known for their frantic, fun, and fast melodic punkrock that draws influences from many bands including Bad Brains, The Undertones and Swingin' Utters. As the band continued to draw influence from a greater variety of acts, Hollywood Gods sound incorporated stronger elements of powerpop and 80's style hardcore. Although their time has come and gone, Hollywood Gods have left their mark in the scene that will fade slowly into the closets of our minds.
