Jon Bauer

Worship is more than a song – it's a lifestyle. A life of worship allows others to see Jesus in all that you do – in your work, in your words and your world. From the mountain-top times of leading worship to the more mundane actions like shovelling the snow filled walk, Jon strives to present these real-life moments as acts of worship unto the Lord. Jon is a full-time touring worship leader/recording artist, but maintains the importance of being home based in a church family. Jon leads worship monthly at his home church near Edmonton, Alberta where he is the Worship Arts Associate. The other 3 weeks of the month Jon and his band tour throughout Canada and the US ministering at churches,conferences, and schools ministering to all age groups.

~Jon recently was awarded with the 2007 SHAI AWARD (Canada’s Gospel Music People’s Choice Awards) for “2007 New Artist of the Year”!~2006 Covenant Award Nominee for “Worship Album of the Year”, and “Male Vocalist of the Year”.~2005 Covenant Award Nominee for “Song of the Year” for his song entitled "Promise" (For I Know).~2005 Covenant Award Nominee for Male Vocalist of the Year and Praise and Worship Album of the Year.~Has shared the stage with some Christian great Artists including “Brian Doerksen”, “Carolyn Arrends”, “Greg Sczebel”, and award winning authors and speakers “Mark Buchanan”, “Phil Callaway”.~Performed two times on "The Miracle Channel" based in Lethbridge, AB; broadcast to over 100 countries around the globe!~Performing LIVE on Canada's nationally broadcast "100 Huntley Street" based in Burlington, ON.
