In 1986,Tim left the road and retired from the music industry so he could focus ..ing to raise his son. He would later re-marry a beautiful woman and soul mate, Cindy. Together he and Cindy had 2 beautiful daugthers. His dream of being successful in the music business had to be put on the back burner, although he continued to write songs throughout those years. During his retirement time, he continued to perform in church and became involved in studio demo sessions. A few years after meeting Cindy, Tim founded Motivation Plus Publishing Company and continued to write while still in hiatus. 2004 found his son T.C. "Chance" Smith gaining recognition for his talent of taking elements of Country and Rock and blending it with the ever popluar HipHop movement and renamed it Country HipHop. Chance went on to share the stage during this time with Big and Rich, Hank Williams Jr, Kid Rock and many others. This prompted Tim Smith to get active in the music industry again. _________________________ JIMMY CHRISTY, born Jimmy Christensen on Halloween and raised in the country, "Nature Boy" was his title all through school. Hunting, Fishing, and his music were his companions. Music and the great outdoors were more than just a passing interest, it has been his life and most importantly his one true love. It was not uncommon for his parents to have to go looking for him when it was time to come home because he'd get out in the woods with his music and lose track of time. He never got lost out there in the wilderness, just confused for a day or three. 1981 found Jimmy with his first recorded album titled "We're Free" It was the first official recording that was completely his own material and not someone else's. Then in 1998 Jimmy recorded another album titled " Heart Winds" Currently, Jimmy is a songwriter for Motivation Plus Publishing Company. Tim Smith, President/CEO/Founder of Motivation Plus Publishing met Jimmy Christy during a songwriter's night that Tim was hosting in Nashville. Tim immediately recognized Jimmy's talent and invited him to the Motivation Plus Publishing recording studio and is now working on his next album yet to be titled.

_________________________ TREY JEWELL, Up-and-coming country star Trey Jewell wowed audiences during his recent performances in Nashville. Trey, singer/songwriter from Memphis, is a natural born musician with loads of songwriting talent thrown in for good measure. His songwriting skills are displayed in his country love songs such as "In My life" and heartache songs like "Blue Rider" and "Moments to Memories."
Trey’s songwriting skills belie his age. The heartfelt love and hurt he writes about are much deeper than the average songwriter. The haunting melodies he uses to showcase his lyrics again do not match up with his age. Trey uses the melodies to drive home the hurt of a broken heart and the joy of love.
Trey began playing and writing at the tender age of 13 and had put his first band together by the age of 14. Trey recorded his first demo “The Acoustic Set†in February of 2005. This demo included five original songs which now has been expanded to a ten song collection released in November of 2006 and is now available on Trey’s website, www.TreyJewell.com. Some of the comments about Trey’s original songs are “very poetic with lots of imagery†and “he writes from the perspective of a thirty year-old man.†Trey’s straight from the heart strong vocal delivery never fails to draw his audiences into the song.
Trey recently released his first full project from Nashville, a 15 song CD entitled "All Roads Lead To You", On Motivation Plus Records. Trey’s debut CD is available on his website. Trey has recently played several Nashville hot spots including Tootsies, the Nashville palace, Lyrix, Tommy's Country Playhouse,The Music City Bar & Grill, and Dan McGuiness. He continues to make new fans everywhere he plays and is sure to be a household name in the near future.
