"Hey Folks, My name is Steve Thomas, as a guitarist and a fiddler I have been working in the studios in and around Nashville for the past twenty-five years or so, in the eighties I traveled and recorded with the "Whites", "Jim and Jesse", the "Osborn Bro.","Del McCoury" and the "Lost and Found". In the nineties I worked with " Barbara Mandrell"," Arron Tippin", "Kenny Chesney", "Brooks and Dunn", "Lee Ann WomacK" and "Lorrie Morgan". For the past few years I have been doing custom recordings for GainTrain Production in Nashville Tenn. In February of 2006 Elmer Burchett asked me if I would produce a local singer from Richmond Ky. Our first day in the studio produced three killer tracs: "Little Ole Farmin Town"," Midnight Run" and a cool little tune called " Love,Peace and ChickenGrease". The sound was fresh and so was the singer. The combination of my production and his voice seemed to us a perfect fit. His name is Dale Pyatt. We nicknamed the genre "Buffett Grass". After the session I remember making a comment about the name "ChickenGrease" and how I thought it would make a cool band name. Dale said "count me in!" and a year and a half later we've got a "Killer" CD and our sons are in the band. How cool is that?
