Tony Rio & Relentless

Hard at work for the last 8 months on their latest CD release, “Dance”, Tony Rio & Relentless are ready to take the country music scene to new heights. This hard work will payoff on May 21, 2009 when the guys hold the release party for “Dance” at The Boneyard - Mayfield Heights, one of the premiere venues in Northeast Ohio. As an added attraction, Tony is honored to announce that WGAR 99.5 radio legend and Country Music DJ Hall of Fame inductee (2009) Chuck Collier has graciously agreed to host this can't miss event.
So what makes this CD and this event so different from the others? Well, if you haven't already listened to any number of tracks recently posted...WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!!!! Without a doubt, Tony's latest work is by far his best. The Akron, Ohio native worked with not only the top musicians, producers and songwriters in Nashville, he also enlisted his long time guitar player Bob Andrews for a bit of collaboration. Bringing Bob's experience and infectious hooks to the songwriting table helped in penning “I'm In Love”, a rocking, “get up on your feet”, sing along that is destined to become radio gold, or maybe even platinum.
And the title cut “Dance”? You may know this man as the BMI Songwriter of the Year for 2003, 2007 and NSAI writer of the year for 2003, 2005 and 2006. He has written eight number one hits and over twenty-five top ten hits. Oh yeah, one other thing, he was a judge for USA/NBC Network “Nashville Star.” That's right, Jeffrey Steele. Jeffrey also penned the open-road, movin'-down-the-highway cut “Freewheelin'”.
A fixture on the country music scene in Northeast Ohio and regionally for the last thirteen years, Tony and the band have worked long and hard for what they are today. Never satisfied with the “now”, Tony and the boys are gearing up for a “strap yourself in” ride towards national prominence on the country music scene.
