Jimmy Christy

Jimmy Christy, born Jimmy Christensen on Halloween and raised in the country, "Nature Boy" was his title all through school. Hunting, Fishing, and his music were his companions. Music and the great outdoors were more than just a passing interest, it has been his life and most importantly his one true love. It was not uncommon for his parents to have to go looking for him when it was time to come home because he'd get out in the woods with his music and lose track of time. He never got lost out there in the wilderness, just confused for a day or three.1981 found Jimmy with his first recorded album titled "We're Free" It was the first official recording that was completely his own material and not someone else's. Then in 1998 Jimmy recorded another album titled " Heart Winds"Currently, Jimmy is a songwriter for Motivation Plus Publishing Company. Tim Smith, President/CEO/Founder of Motivation Plus Publishing met Jimmy Christy during a songwriter's night that Tim was hosting in Nashville. Tim immediately recognized Jimmy's talent and invited him to the Motivation Plus Publishing recording studio and is now working on his next album yet to be titled.
