CHANCE is quickly becoming one of the most sought after live performance artists in the south. In the last year alone CHANCE has performed with the likes of Kid Rock, Hank Williams Jr., KRS ONE, Digital Underground, Tanya Tucker, The Naked Cowboy, P-Funk AllStars, Gretchen Wilson, Ty Stone, Trailor Choir, Steven Cochran, Colt Ford, and Ambyr to name a few. CHANCE’s music is a one of a kind, live band/ DJ combination of HipHop, Southern Rock, and Country Music. He reaches all audiences regardless of age, race, or creed yet is focused toward the high energy, "live-loud" party crowd. After seeing one live CHANCE performance it is clear that you've experienced a legend in the making.
CHANCE was literally born into music and raised on a bus while his parents and recording artists TIM & PAULINE SMITH were touring with the likes of Gene Watson, Willie Nelson, Tanya Tucker, and David Allan Coe, performing everywhere from arenas, to small hotel bars, to the Grand Ole’ Opry. CHANCE's parents settled in Nashville TN when he was 4. CHANCE spent most of his childhood in the local nashville bar/ music scene with his mother PAULINE SMITH. PAULINE was a loved singer/ bartender that never met a stranger. When CHANCE was 13 years old, PAULINE passed away from a eight year bout with cancer which eventually became the inspiration for writing the song “PAULINE†which landed CHANCE his first major Music Row record deal with Warner Brothers/ RAYBAW in 2005. CHANCE left the label late 2006. CHANCE has created quite a buzz as an artist/ producer involving everyone from MTV/ CMT, to ClearChannel, to world the famous Naked Cowboy. CHANCE has built a huge independent following and is planning to begin touring and releasing music early 2008. CHANCE has made it his personal life goal to create innovative music that crosses all genres and help aid in the growth of other great artists so that they might also have a "CHANCE".
