7 Years ago I moved to Nashville TN, with a brand new bass guitar in my hand and only a year of playing under my belt. Even though I didn't have much experience and intention of playing music the view was cool (rollin on 65 through Chattanooga) and I would be able to be around the creme de la creme of musicians from all over. In better words I was heading in the right direction. Yeah Ya'll (Nashville gramma) I'm moving on to a spot called NASHVILLE that would change my life forever..literally.Besides the fact I now rOck Cowboui boots, from time and again I was turned on to music that was so exillarating to my than freshman ears. I remember the first time I was turned on to Led Zeppelin.. man I was moved by this RoCkin funky vibe from the stank that Page threw off his guitar. And to lock it up, no one could have laid the low end down like my man John Paul Jones. (I heard it through the grapevine that LZ is getting back together 4 a few shows..nize).
The list goes on and on, Tower of Power, John Mayer,Bobby Womack"Stop on by", RHCP,Muse,Joco Pastorius, Victor Wooten, Dirks Bently, Haggard,John Legend, left alot out. To name a few, these r some of the cats that brought a new light into my life that urged me to not just play music, but to live it and love it. Every stlye every genre. Today u can catch me playing at a country bar, on a R&B set, Rock Venue, Playing covers at your local Bar, It don't matter what it is. "All I want to do is play babe".
