to promote Beth!
Beth was born and raised in the small, rural town of Ocean View, Delaware, where she grew up on the coast and country music. "Its so funny, even though I am from the beach, the area I grew up in is also notorious for its agriculture, especially corn and chickens, and everybody listens to country music! When my husband and I are traveling back to our stompin' grounds, we take pride in the familiar smells of "home": salt water from the ocean and bay and chicken manure! I consider it all an opportunity to have lived the best of both worlds. I could ride my four-wheeler through the cornfields with the best of 'em, but I could also be found spending a lazy day out on a boat. That small town life will always be the root of the country artist that I am today".
Beth comes from a very large family, and they are all musical in one way or another, even several generations back. Like most artists, she's been singing since the young age of 4 when she made her debut in church singing "Dear Mr.Jesus", having to stand on a table to reach the microphone. "I've known ever since that very performance that I wanted to be a country singer", says Beth. "When I wasn't checking groceries in our family-owned grocery store, I was taking every opportunity to sing". Finally, her dream of going to Nashville became a reality at the young age of 17 when she moved there to attend Belmont University, majoring in Music Business. After graduating, she returned home briefly to compete in the Miss Delaware pageant, finishing in the top ten. After taking some time with family and friends, Beth returned to Nashville to put the music career in full swing! Last fall, she had the opportunity to open up for Blake Shelton at the Annual "Sunfest" Event in Ocean City, MD. Recently, Beth was asked to sing the National Anthem at both the NASCAR Busch Series Race and the NASCAR Nextel Cup 500.
This past year, she recorded her second album with friend and producer Chris Estes of Bestes Music Productions in Nashville, self-entitled "Beth Cayhall", a follow-up project from their first album together, "Blonde Behind the Wheel". With a newer image and a bigger sound, they feel that this project gives her an extra edge, and truly represents her as an artist. The album is currently being shopped to labels and Beth has been busy singing wherever she can (with her amazing new band!) to fulfill her greatest love within her music...performing. Often compared to a modern-day Reba McEntire or Dolly Parton, "I dream of someday winning "Entertainer of the Year", and going on to use my gifts and talents to serve and help others", says Beth. "I am truly excited about what lies ahead. I absolutely love what I do!".
Between selecting songs for her album, recording in the studio, and performing, Beth has been building a beautiful life with Rick, her high school sweetheart and best friend, whom she married in October of 2004. "During the 4 years that I was at Belmont, he spent the same amount of time in the United States Marine Corps. It was a test of faith and patience, but we knew that if we could get through those 4 years apart, we could get through anything and spend the rest of our lives together. It was a long-awaited and beautiful moment on that October day!!". They are residing in Nashville with their Sheltie, "Lucy", and the newest member of their family, a German-Shepherd mix that they rescued, "Major". "Both of them are two of my greatest loves!", says Beth.

"People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered; FORGIVE THEM ANYWAY. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; BE KIND ANYWAY. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; SUCCEED ANYWAY. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; BE HONEST AND FRANK ANYWAY. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; BUILD ANYWAY. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; BE HAPPY ANYWAY The good you do today, people will forget tomorrow; DO GOOD ANYWAY. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; GIVE THE WORLD THE BEST YOU'VE GOT ANYWAY. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; IT WAS NEVER BETWEEN YOU AND THEM ANYWAY." ~Mother Teresa
"Fall in LOVE or fall in hate. Get INSPIRED or be depressed. Ace a test or flunk a class. Speak the TRUTH or lie and cheat. DANCE on tables or sit in the corner. Life is DIVINE chaos. EMBRACE it. FORGIVE yourself. BREATHE. And ENJOY THE RIDE....." ~Solbeam
