I was born in South Shields, near Newcastle, but moved to Manor Park in East London when I was young.
I'm a Newcastle United supporter, and I'm surrounded by Tottenham, West Ham, and Arsenal fans, so I get a lot of stick for that, but so it goes!
Been into music for as long as I can remember. I first got into Hip Hop, watchin MTV Raps on saturday mornings. Way before there was any MTV Bass that was the best place to catch some real beats where I lived! When I moved to London in '90 I soon learned about Hardcore. Weekend Rush was the daddy fe dem!! I Started mixin in '92, round a mate from schools house on Pro 150 decks. There would be a group of us mixin, gettin lean, you know how it is. Then my mate TJ caught the mixin bug and we got some real shitty look-like-home-made decks of our own and an old stereo which should have been in a museum, and set them up in his nans house. Then we hooked up a pair of Warfdales and a fuckin massive Marshall stage speaker and bassed out the place! Over the years I tightened my skills and made my way up through various pirate radio stations. You can catch me on Londons infamous Kool FM (94.6 FM), every Saturday night/ Sunday morning 3-5 GMT.
I started my journey into production one stoned night round my same mates house after a night at World dance @ the Lighthouse ..... on a playstation and a tv so old you had to pedal it . After a few months messin about with that I scraped up some sheckles and bought a PC. A good few years later '06 me and Sly decided it was time to step up to the plate, so we bought some new shit and began workin on a few tracks ...... the rest as they say is history .....
