Class A recordingz was put together by Dj/Producer CKB. After scouting the Drum & Bass scene he has brought together a blend of the finest national & international producers flying the Class A banner.
Up first we have “Dj/Producer Rowneyâ€, hailing out of Manchester UK, he has been Djing for 8years and producing for 4 years specialising in jump up and rave style music.
His breakthrough came when he featured on knowledge magazine's free mix CD by Dj Banban in September 2006, since then he has had a lot of label interest and his music played on London’s kool fm, Silk city fm Birmingham and frequency fm Leeds. Now part of the ever growing Class A recordingz family his tracks have gained support and plays from mainstream djs who play the Drum & Bass scene week in week out.
Dj Rowney brings something different to the jump up sound, he has many styles and is starting to make a name for himself amongst the up and coming drum and bass producers from the UK.
Second we are proud to present “Wobble Tâ€, He is an up coming Dj/ Producer from Avignon in the south of the France. Influenced by all types of urban music he first started mixing Techno and Drum & Bass in 1999.
In 2001 at the age of 21 he began to focus on Drum n Bass only and over the next few years he began to master his production style, now he is producing all types of Drum n Bass, his style is across the board, he specialises in jump up but has been influenced by ragga also, Wobble T is inspired by producers such as: Clipz, Hazard, Benny Page etc
Wobble T has also had support from Djs across the UK scene and looks to continue the success of 2007 into 2008
Side A, Dj Rowney – chatterbox
It’s a tough jump up track driven by ferocious beats and percussion.
The intro is a twisted sinister hook, which builds up with vocal samples up to the drop, which catches you by surprise.
A real dance floor banger that has all the potential and attitude to mash up the dance floor. Catchy bass line and themes has made this a real crowd pleaser!!!
Side B, Wobble T - Let me stay
This track is definitely finding its place on dance floor.
The intro leads you up to a ripping wobbly grimy twisted bass line. With fx at the climax and a big drop the melody is going to get you moving.
This one is for all lovers of jump up and Drum & Bass as it captures all elements of a classic jump up track.
Expect big things from both these producers in the future, as there first release is about to make an impact on the scene
CLASSA002
2007 was a big year for Dj Sly and Dj Pacso and 2008 promises to see them add further to their ever-growing CV's.
4 track releases alongside Ego Trippin (Infared/Rowdee/Bad Habit/The Menace) put Sly firmly in the spotlight, and the dub-plate smash 'Respect' featuring MC Bassman saw the introduction of Dj Sly and Dj Pacso as a production duo.
Side A, Dj Sly & Dj Pacso – Cheese Cake
The randomly named 'Cheese Cake' is anything but random, in fact it ticks all the right boxes for a dance floor banger.
Eerie strings combine with a haunting vocal to bring you the "Fear of the unknown", and you'll be truly shakin' in your boots when the thunderous bassline leaps from the speakers and attacks you with its ferociousness! (YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED)
Catch Dj Sly & Dj Pacso on London’s Kool 94.6 FM
Dj Sly Thursdays 9pm - 11pm
Dj Pacso Sundays 3am - 5am
Side B, Dj Messy – Jungle 2040
DJ Messy has fast been making a name for himself across London in 2007. Holding down a slot on Kool FM 94.6 he has used this to catapult his production skills to the world.
Following the successful response to the many Dub plates he has put out it was only a matter of time before this guy had a full release and we are pleased to announce its here at last!!!!!
Jungle 2040 is defiantly a track from the future, with is warped bassline and sheer aggression this is a track that should not be taken likely!! Jungle 2040 has been causing a stir across the dance floors with its gritty bassline.
You will no for sure you’ve arrived in 2040 once you penetrate this truly barbaric groove! (YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED AGAIN)
You can catch DJ Messy on Kool Fm 96.4
Saturday 3am - 5am
Grind the rail is one of those tracks that has the ability to change the atmosphere of any rave to greater heights. On the flip side we welcome Dj Norm to the camp. From Hungary he has a very grimey jump up style and his debut release speaks volumes! Nasty Bassline complimented by some excellent reggae sampling. Dj Norm has produced one of his finest tunes to date and together with Sly & Pacso on the other side this will be one of Class A recordingz biggest release..'s so far this year!! Side A, Dj Sly & Dj Pacso - Grind The Rail Side B, Dj Norm - Killah Boom CLASSA005 Class a recordingz comes with yet another banger, this time its Dj Kre – go against me. Gripping melody, tuff drums and a swamping bassline, this track s a powerful dance floor smasher
Watch out for more from Dj kre, this is a producer that will set the place alight with his production, you have been warned
