Growing up in a Midwest kinda town gave Ken Daniels lot's of inspiration for being a filmmaker. He directed his first short film on Super 8 when he was just 13 years old. "IT'S A REALLY WEIRD SUMMER" made it's debut as a book report turned into a film because Ken hated to write. In front of a sold out crowd of eager 1st thru 8th graders. His career took off. After a glorious standing ovation and lot's of imagination Ken headed off to High School. Now that he his big shot, after all hearing you're gonna be the next Steven Speilberg plus garnering an A can kinda swell your head a bit, since he was 13 and new it all and there wasn't much more to learn for him. His High School day's landed him a couple other films. "The Menacer", "Sci-fi remake of "War of the Worlds" and various other Comedy spoofs. This wasn't just a one person show. With the Help of Jeff Dobrow, now a famous 3D Animator, plus all the neighborhood gang, Julie, Bryan, Tim, Dale, and my sister and brothers, Ken started blazing a trail of destruction wherever he could. He even blew up his parents basement using gunpowder for explosives in the War of the Worlds remake. Reality set in for Ken and his dream of being a Special Effects artist and filmmaker when the great Old One of his family chanted the odious mantra "GET A REAL JOB!". So Ken proceeded to do just that. Several successes and failures later the immortal words of several motivational speakers kept ringing in his head. " Do What You Love and The Money Will Follow!" So after many years of living a boring life. Ken did it. Then came the Fright Night Film Fest. Next came "The Lucky Break" film. As executive producer he fufilled a dream of making a motion picture with a real celebrity. Now he can check that off his list. Enjoy Fright Night.
