Well, lets see where do I start? My name is Sean Clark and Im what you would call a busy guy. Here are a few things that keep me so busy. I used to write for a website called Creature-Corner until the entire staff left and we started up Dread Central which was the news section of The Horror Channel. We then left THC and launched Dread Central on our own. As a writer for DC I cover all things horror from screenings to interviews, set visits etc. If it is horror Im there. I also write a feature article at Dread Central called Horrors Hallowed Grounds which has been developed into a TV show that is hosted by yours truly. This is what this MySpace page is all about. Here is the show's concept.
Did you ever wish that you could have actually been on the set of one of your favorite horror films? To have been right there where it all went down? Well in some cases you can, and that is what Horrors Hallowed Grounds is all about. I will visit the actual filming locations from both horror and cult films alike showing what they look like today while doing a retrospective on the film. This has been a personal hobby of mine for over a decade, and I have traveled all over the world in search of actual filming locations from my favorite films. Now I'm ready to share them with you. My ultimate goal is to eventually have the largest, most detailed horror & cult film location database on the internet as well as on film. I'll try to provide as much information as I can to assist the readers in finding these locations on their own, including using photos from the actual films for comparisons to how the locations look today, as well as including any interesting facts about the location as it pertains to the film or otherwise. I will also be taking some of the film's stars with me to these locations to try and jog their memories and perhaps get some really cool behind the scenes stories on the making of these classic films. I want to get you, the fans, involved as well so please e-mail me any requests you may have and/or information to help me find those few elusive locations I may not have already found. I want this to be fun for everyone so please do not abuse this information. Just because I give the exact address to a location doesnt mean you can just walk right up to the front door and ask to go in. A lot of these locations are private residences and/or businesses and you need to respect their privacy. However, in some cases locations are open to the public. I will be detailing all of this information in my articles. So let the hunt begin! So that is what Horror's Hallowed Grounds is all about.
