I've spun shows at The Apollo, Uptown Comedy Club, Judi's Lounge, PJ's, Club Demerara's, The Shadow, Club Harambee, Bentley's and many more... My specialty is Old School R-N-B/Hip-Hop and my collection is deep.
My mixtapes have been heavily bootlegged in the Harlem area years after I first made them. I can't walk on 125 without seeing someone selling at least one of my mixes (minus the cover art: you cheap MFers!).
I spent a couple of years doing freelance event photos for magazines like Vibe, The Source, Rap Sheet, RapPages and XXL. I also published them on my first website 'disconnections.com'. My site was one of the first Urban sites that played audio and video clips as well as helping to break new artists on a global scale. My new site 'www.disconnexions.com' is up and running and quickly becoming one of the most popular Urban sites for grownups on the 'net.
I am also Vice President of BCYDE Video & Entertainment. We are event videographers with experience in a wide range of events from Weddings to Sweet Sixteens and Bar Mitzvahs. We also are involved in behind-the-scenes work for the upcoming movies, 'The Vapors' and 'The Taking Of Brook-Lynn'.
Another project we are working on for this summer is the "World Series Of Hip Hop". We are actively promoting the contest and I created and maintain the offical website: www.wsohh.com. We are currently filming promotional spots for the event as well.
I'm looking to connect with positive people that love soul music and want to help spread the old school vibe. I'm not looking for a relationship or a myspace "sex buddy", as I am pretty picky when it comes to who I talk to in a romantic way. I'm only interested in women that know how to act like a lady in public and who can express themsleves intelligently.
