About Me
L³ which stands for Lips/Lids/Lavish, is all about what I do to make others feel and look beautiful in their own special way. I have been doing makeup/modeling/coordinating fashion events/image consultation for as long as I can remember. This is NOTHING that I just woke up one day and decide to do,it is simply my lifestyle of living and what I was blessed with. Sometimes in life people are afraid to acknowledge their gifts and make them work. This is the time in 2007, that I present to you fearlessly, restlessly, and wholeheartedly ALL of me! LaQuanah began her passion for fashion at the tender age of five years old. While watching her granny put make up on for the yearly "Ebony Fashion Fair" event or Sunday church, she would always say, "granny can I see the blush." At any given time you could catch her playing in make up and dressing up like most kids do. However, she seemed to just like it a little more than the norm. Growing up with a mother that constantly exude a flawless look/style, two grandmothers that made looking beautiful seem effortessly, and an uncle that was the frontier of many fashion shows, it was the inevitable for LaQuanah to admire everything that had to do with looking good. It was not up until her very first year in high school, while getting ready for homecoming dance, that she realized by adding a little touch of make up enhanced the beauty she already possessed. After that night, you would never see LaQuanah without her face on -as she likes to call it. Already having a good eye for what looks good on the face and what does not, she then went on to continuously have an aspiration to master this given talent. This mission began by her doing make up for performances, photographs, and fashion shows in high school. Still not really grasping or acknowledging that this was a gift, even after so many people instilled it in her mind, she continued doing make up for fashion events at Florida A & M University where she attended college for a modeling organization "Epicurean Fashion Experience" because it was fun. This is where she began to experience working with new colors, shades, blends, and showed all of her newly found friends how to wear make up, which was so exciting to her. During college, she also began arching her own eyebrows simply by believing she could do just as good of a job than most and there was something about having an unfamiliar person in her face that she did not like. Shortly, after college, on her return to Detroit, she ran across opportunities to display her make up artistry with fashion events, worked at a Make Up Kiosk in her hometown Detroit, and also a commerical for a local clothing store Elite Closet.Currently in 2007, LaQuanah has demonstrated her artistry with various PuddinTane Apparel Incorporated fashion events, which specializes in enhancing elegance, fun, and romance with their garments in the bedroom in a unique way for all shapes and sizes. She has also worked with brides making sure they not only feel, but also look like the queens that they are during one of the most precious times in life. Creating new looks and helping people that do not wear make up see that they too can add just a little to make a major difference is one of LaQuanah s greatest pleasures. Her only hope is to now gain the opportunity to work with new people, so that she can exemplify her ability to create an even more beautiful you or simply add that special something that you never knew you had. Most importantly, develop more techniques so that she can be the best at what she does and take it to the next level.Scrollbox Code from KillerKiwi.netclick here
