2008 has been an incredible year for me and for all those who believe in CHANGE, TO GOD BE THE GLORY. I'm embarking on another great journey as a PRODUCER. I know that God has blessed me with the LOVE OF THE ARTIST and I am so excited about producing television shows and films that will showcase new stars and celebrities for the millennium and beyond. I'm particularly excited about working with Yolanda Buggs, an AFI graduate and who is a triple threat as a director, writer and Producer and Sal Martino, the writer and director of the film that I recently starred in "PAROLED", Jonathan Villiapando, a mogul in the making, the next Spielberg,and Gino and Lance, two young actor/writers who have written a comedy sitcom masterpiece "The Julio Brothers" and Mykel Shannon Jenkins who I consider my son, an inspiration, a visionary, a genius, an illuminating spirit with a talent that is comparable to all the great ones who preceded him and to my brother, confidante and best friend UNE, a singer for the ages and a voice tuned by God, who recently sang in Europe where he received a standing ovation and Malik Kalonji a poet whose BOOK of POETRY will be published next year, a writer, a rapper and sage, my friend and brother who always has an angelic smile and a spirit to match, and last by not leastmy cousin Nard Allen, a Detroit Native who has the potential to be one of the most important directors of this generation.My inspiration comes from listening to Bishop T.D. Jakes DVD "DIVINE STRATEGIES" every week and sometimes everyday. It is the most anointing sermon I've ever heard or seen. I guarantee you DELIVERANCE and BOLDNESS IN ACTION if you let it enter your blood, soul, body and mind. I also recommend a book given to me by former college roommate and my best friend of 41 years Rick Nichols "Psycho Cybernetics". Rick gave me that book 41 years ago and it ignited a fire of faith that gave me the courage to pursue my dream of becoming an actor. Rick and his lovely wife Lynn are the best friends anyone could ever hope for in 8 lifetimes. And last but not least Muhammad Ali who I don't see that often because of his extremely busy schedule. Ali took care of me during the " darkest" periods in my life. I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for his generosity of spirit and finance. Ali saved my life and I am forever grateful to him because he didn't have to do it and he wasn't obligated to do it. May God bless him and his descendants for a thousand years and beyond. Ali is truly ONE IN A BILLION!I'm extremely excited about my mother's book "CONVERSATIONS WITH MY MOTHER,
Food for Mind, Body and Soul" My mother is a gift from God. She has been
unwaivering in her faith as a Christian Missionary and she is my BEST FRIEND next
to God.I thank God for the prayers of the Saints who have prayed without ceasing for my
success and for my protection. I know that I am being carried by the prayers of
my ancestors, my grandmother and great grandmother and great grand fathers
and all those that came before them and the millions of fans around the nation
and the world who have loved me and prayed for me. I am forever humbled by
your love and I won't let you down. I'm nothing but a child of God so if I fall short in
this human frame blame on my flesh and not on my heart. I pray that my good
will always outweigh my bad. What I know for sure is that for GOD I LIVE and for
GOD I DIE! No weapon formed against shall be able to prosper. I respect all people
of all faiths and thank God for the election of President Elect Barack Obama which
I believe is a gift from God not only to America but to the world. I thank God for
our soldiers who are putting themselves in harm's way as I sit here with the
freedom to live a great life in the greatest country in the world, the United
States of America. God Bless our soldiers who have sacrificed their
lives and limbs so that we can sleep in peace at night. May we continue to
purify our faith by respecting all other faiths and activating the most important
part of the Christ theology according to Corinthians, LOVE!I'm grateful to all my "What's Happening" fans and to Bud Yorkin, Saul Turtletaub and
Bernie Orenstein for choosing me as the lead character. I also wanted to send out
a special thanks for our director the late Mark Warren, the first black to win an emmy for a directing a television show "Laugh In". Mark Warren was a genius and I learned so much from him which I'm still benefiting from today. This year marked the 32nd Anniversary of the show where I starred as "Raj" opposite Danielle Spencer, Haywood Nelson and late great Mabel King, Shirley Hemphill, Fred Berry and Thalmus Rasulala. I'm also grateful to my film idol and inspiration Sidney Poitier for casting me in " Piece of the Action" and I'm extemely grateful to Spike Lee for choosing me for a role in his epic critically acclaimed "MALCOLM X". And last but not least David Talbert for casting me opposite Kirk Franklin in the hit gospel musical play "He Say, She Say but What Does God Say."I'm very excited to star in a recurring role on "EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS" on the
CW channel as "Mr. Omar" the funeral director who brings comfort to the widows.
I feel so blessed to be in the company of Tichina Arnold, Terry Crews, Tyler
Williams, Tequan and Imani. The crew and staff make me feel like I'm a part of the
family. Ali LeRoi and Chris Rock are our fearless leaders and co-creators and they
are meticulously crafting a comedy masterpeice. Check it out on the CW channel. Don't forget to write and let them know how much you love it.I'm executive producer of the new hit CD "UNE" and I'm also a part of the management

and not by sight.I'm just a skinny black kid from Dorie Miller Projects who
was on welfare and relief, no daddy etc. etc. etc. But I had thee FATHER GOD who never
