I studied at The Purcell School of music then went to Amsterdam and studied contemporary music and composition for a year at the Amsterdam Conservatory. I now find myself unable to say what music I like, but it is a dodgy mix from Baroque to pop, Luciano Berio to Miles Davis to Ruben Gonzalez. Don't ask such hard questions.
This is easier....anything by Tarantino, Luis Bunuel, Tarkovsky, Lars Von Trier, Gus Van Sant, Wim Wenders, much more i can't think of right now. I also like cheesy films.
Shit stuff. Reality TV.
I do not know how people manage this. "Books"hmmph There are too many. Although I can't read novels anymore. So it's mostly poetry and books about theatre. Ok i can manage that: I read: Richard Schechner, Phillip Zarrilli, Grotowski, Eugenio Barba, Roland Barthes, Sarah Kane, Kathy Acker, Artaud, Genet, Derrida (well i attempt to on a regular basis) Stephen Barber is an incredible writer about cities...I also sometimes read Heat magazine.... and Tears in the Fence, Tremblestone, Poetry Review, etc
Heroes. Superman? Superwoman? Superwo/man? Ok only the mega important ones: Antonin Artaud, Tatsumi Hijikata, Frida Kahlo
