About Me

Howdy Folks! Well what is there to say about me? I lOVE MUSIC!! That's why I volunteer for The Gold Coast Music Industry Association as their devoted President. Please check it out if you are local and passionate about music in any way shape or form. ****First and foremost, however, I am a mother. I have three pride and and joys. A 6yr old son and 4 1/2yr old twin girls. So loads of my time is spent doing motherly things. Not that I'm complaining. Being a mother is one of the most rewarding professions you can have. *****I have also just recently been voted onto the Management Committee for Expressive Ground (a big warehouse space for people to be creative, movies have been made there, film clips and a lot of music events) I also volunteer for the Cancer Council QLD which is rewarding, close to my heart and therapy.... ******When I do get the chance to be just Josie I enjoy many things like, spending time in good company, laughing (especially a real belly chuckle. Laughter is definately the best medicine) reading, listening to music, dancing alone or with my kids in the shelter of my little home, learning new things, playing my guitar, watching the birds in the backyard through the kitchen window, walking the dog, witnessing a pink and orange sunset, gazing into a full moon, eating vegemite, having a cup of tea, sleeping in, sleeping in to the sound of rain, the smell of rain, swinging on swings.... I could go on and on. I think it's safe to say that I take pleasure in the simplest of things. As the saying goes: the simple things in life are often the best. HEAR! HEAR!

My Interests

Music, The paranormal, reading and learning. I'm interested in finding out as much as I can about everything! *** I've just gotta add Sushi. mmmm mmmm. My favourite food by far. I think I'm addicted to seaweed. **** I've also got an affection for 70s get up and all things old school. I've been wearing the same pair of flares for 10 years. My old brown trusties.AND I haven't even downloaded any music from the internet. Don't even know how... Don't even own a computer... Need one though...I'm saving....*****

I'd like to meet:

All walks of life. I wish I could have met Johnny Cash. What's on my CD player? Beck 'Mutations' my fave, Magnetic Fields, Bonnie Prince Billy, Midlake, Radical Face and Smog and Pheonix*****What's on my record player? Kids destroyed the needle again.

Movies:

I've watched nothing lately though I've seen Labyrinth, Spiderman, Spaceballs and now Alvin and the Chipmunks over and over and over again.... my kids faves at the moment. I love it when Hunter re-inacts David Bowie's parts and actions in Labyrinth. "You know very well where he is" she says pretending to hold the crystal ball...

Television:

No Time for TV ALTHOUGH Dexter is pretty damn hot I'd have to say... Also getting into 'Six Feet Under' dvds on loan from my cous. Word Up Reece!

Books:

I'm all out of reading material. Time for a library visit...

Heroes:
