Clone Pony has now uploaded a new recording of For Rent, and also a new song called Mudbone! Mudbone had only been played twice before recording, and For Rent was done in only half and hour!
Let us know what you think of the new recordings.
The band is still looking around for more gigs, as so far they've been a HUGE success. Please contact us on here if you know of anywhere for us to play, as we will be happy to play there!

Please keep in mind, most of the songs that are currently up on the MySpace are old recordings, and, depending on the conditions in which they were recorded (ie. For Rent - recorded in a room full of strangers...) are quite crap. We have been told we sound better live... heh.
The boys are also doing a few "side projects" each. James and Alex have formed noise/art rock band Whtch!, which plays whatever the hell they feel like!

Scott Davey, the old drummer from Dead Letter Circus, began Clone Pony when he introduced James to Jacob, who both wanted to start a band. James already had Clone Pony going, although it was called "Clone Spider" with another member Kyle Robinson, the bassist, and a drummer named Vincent. Upon Jacob's arrival, Jacob and James weighed up the possibilities of Alex and Kyle (Jacob wanted Alex in.) and they reached the decision that Kyle should leave. He happily left to become an actor. He is apparently going to be a Zombie in a movie coming out some time this or Next year. He says it is called "Day of the Dying Living" although James and Jacob don't think he is actually doing a movie. James got rid of Vincent mainly on the reason "he couldn't play anything i taught him".
They practised songs with the new bass player Alex for a few months, before discovering Dana and recruiting her as a singer and pianist (On the condition "Any Problems and she is out")!
After a few months passed by James, Alex and Jacob thought it was for the best Dana shouldn't be apart of Clone Pony. Since then, she has moved away.
We reckon we rock, and we hope you reckon we rock, so support the little Gold Coast band by listening to our stuff and coming along to our shows.Cheers!
