Amy Cushway describes her music as always being her playmate, her lover, and her crying towel. Being a 22 year old and living on the GoldCoast Australia, she believes people use todays music as a couch, they want to be pillowed on it, relaxed, cured and consoled for the stress of daily living.
But serious music was never meant to be soporific. Amy prides herself on lyrics and feelings that coincide with the universal language of mankind.
Amy has just released her first demo ep “I THOUGHT OF YOU OUT LOUD" and indicates that the chosen songs employ a language which the soul alone understands, but which the soul can never translate.
