Francis est ne le 3 octobre 1952 dans le Val d'Oise, en France. Tres tot, il se passionne pour la musique.
Son premier album voit le jour en 1979 et s'appelle "Synthesizer", le dernier est sorti en 2005 et s'intitule "Double face".
Francis collabore egalement depuis de nombreuse annees avec Jean Michel Jarre.

This DVD will be available by mid of feb. (probably St Valentine's Day !) on Czenprod webshop and Francisrimbert official webshop.
It doesn't look like a musical and clip DVD but the mood, the atmosphere of this dvd (the very first one) is more to be compared to a "chronicle" with report on and by Francis Rimbert, his band, and a specific inside "glance" ! .... We didn't have in mind to make a dvd to be distributed, but a kind of souvenir .... for a personal use and to be shared with all our friends ! Indeed, when we have discovered all the stuff we had, sent by lots of fans and people attending the concerts, we decided to croncretize this idea with many kind and friendly helps and also those fabulous guys working for czen prod that i affectionately call my "ants" (MT Sach, Mr Gibbus, C.Real....) coz they have edited, created, gathered, cut, assembled all the parts, all the pieces of the puzzle ... ! We communicated by internet to "build" and reply to your wish, so we do hope this dvd will surprise, and touch people looking for truth ... !
At least, we think everyone will find a "fresh" glance on our univers : Bonus, gallery , extras, jokes, (with hidden part), making of, extracts of tracks and tracks performed in croissy and in suresnes....
**********FRANCIS RIMBERT & The Vibes, Live in 2007
Le DVD sera disponible mi-février (probablement pour la Saint Valentin) dans les boutiques en ligne de C.Zen Prod et de Francis Rimbert. Il ne ressemble pas à un DVD musical, mais l'atmosphère de ce DVD (le premier), est plus comparable à une chronique et un reportage sur et avec Francis Rimbert, son groupe et un contenu spécifique. Nous n'avions pas à l'esprit de faire un DVD à distribuer, mais une sorte de souvenir personnel et à partager avec tous nos amis. En effet, quand nous avons découvert tout le matériel que nous avions, envoyés pas de nombreux fans et personnes ayant assisté aux concerts, nous avons décidé de concrétiser cette idée avec des aides amicales et variées et aussi ces fabuleuses personnes travaillant pour C.Zen Prod et que j'appelle affectueusement mes "fourmis" (Sacha, M. Gibbus, C.Real...) car ils ont monté, créé, réunis, coupé, assemblé toutes les parties, toutes les pieces du puzzle. Nous avons communiqué par Internet pour construire et répondre à vos souhaits, donc nous espérons que ce DVD va vous surprendre, et toucher les personnes cherchant la vérité.
Enfin, nous pensons que chacun trouvera un apercu de notre univers : bonus, galerie, extras, gags (avec partie cachée), making of, extraits et morceaux joués à Croissy et Suresnes.

DVD "Live in Lyon
Now the 2nd one related to Lyon (actually we're still working on it) is completely different by the mood and the artistic side. Filmed in HD 16:9 it is a very different point of vue: On stage, very close to the musicians. In fact this one has been edited by another of my favourit ant : Fantomas (Alain Stoll) !!! His artistic and pertinent and piercing gaze gives a specific relief, shape to this dvd (he filmed the Lyon concert from our arrival to our departure !). More musical clip than the first one.... just a complement to the first one no double-use, absolutely not a clone !!!
Concerning the release of that one no date definite yet, nor confirmed depending of course of Francis Rimbert planning !
**********DVD "Live in Lyon"
Le deuxième DVD, Lyon, (nous travaillons dessus actuellement) est totalement différent par l'ambiance et d'un point de vue artistique. Filmé en HD, c'est un point de vue très différent : sur scène, très près des musiciens. En fait, celui-ci a été monté par une autre de mes fourmis favorites : Fantomas (Alain Stoll). Son regard percant, artistique et pertinent donne un relief, une forme spécifique à ce DVD (il a filmé le concert à Lyon de notre arrivée à notre départ). Plus musical que le premier, un parfait complément, absolument pas un clone.
Concernant la date de sortie, rien de défini pour l'instant, cela dépendra du planning de Francis.
