Jarp2600

Jarp2600 is a young Dutch producer of electronic music. He was born in January 1991 as Jip Postma in the city of Utrecht (NL), as son of a technician from the Dutch band Flairck. By touring accross several theaters and stages in Holland, Belgium and Germany, he got introduced to music. From his sixth birthday, he started to follow piano lessons. which were the basics to his music carieer. After a while, he switched to keyboards, and influenced by the French synthpioneer Jean Michel Jarre, he started to produce some own music. Saving his pocketmoney, he finally could buy some descent equipment, and step by step his productions grew bigger and bigger. which resulted in some local and international collaborations, in the most varying music styles. In 2007, he wrote the musical "Wacht nog Even" ("Wait a while"), together with musicalstar Mirjam van Dyk , which got performed in the theatre for over a thousand spectators. Nowadays, he is known as Dance remixer/producer and as beat/recordingproducer for the hiphopformation Geestdrift.
