About Me

I Bid Thee, Welcome.
Please visit my blog "Of Uther's Court",

“Be the Sun that shines so bold and bright;
Not the moon that borrows someone else‘s light.”
~Book of Merlin

"I know the king will come again,
From the shadow to the sun;
Burning hillsides from the Beltane fires.
I know the king will come again.
When all that glitters turn to rust..."

~Dickinson/Smith

“The storm that wracks the Winter sky;
No more disturbs it's repose;
That Summer's evening's latest sigh,
That shuts the Rose." ~Unknown

"Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths-
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams."
- W B Yeats

"“And when the vain shadows of time are retiring;
When life is fast fleeting and the end is in site,
The Pagan believing exulting expiring;
Beholds a tomorrow of endless delight.” ~Unknown

“A hundred hearts would be too few
To carry all my love for you."~Unknown

“Life is without meaning.
You bring the meaning to it.
The meaning of life is whatever you ascribe it to be.
Being alive is the meaning.
~Joseph Campbell

“One may have a blazing heart in one's soul,
and yet no one ever comes to sit by it.”
~Vincent Van Gogh.

"If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day,
so I never have to live without you.”
~A.A. Milne

CELEBRATE LOVE!

"Thank you for every kindness. Thank you for our children. For the first time I saw them. Thank you for being someone I was always proud to be with. For your guts, for your sweetness. For how you always looked, for how I always wanted to touch you. God, you were my life. I apologize for everytime I ever failed you. Especially this one..." ~Chris Nielsen (Robin Williams)

"Other men said they have seen angels,
But I have seen thee
And thou art enough."

Books:

My all time favorite book! Thank you, Marion Zimmer Bradley for allowing me to visit a world of fantasy which changed my ideas about Christianity forever.
This is the first book of 7 volumes by Jack Whyte, which is a fine read for those seeking a historical view of the Arthurian Legend. I liked the first 3 volumes which examines a completely different angle to the Excalibur concept.
Classic - book one in "Merlin Trilogy"

Marion Zimmer Bradley sparked my soul like no other author! To this day, when I think of Morgaine getting lost in the elf realm, I like to close my eyes and pretend that I am there with her! I was not a relative of Uther, but a confidant and beg you never to consider me in any way a concubine of his Majesty, for I never was. I never held affection for any man with red-hair, as I secretly ...
