Morgan Le Fay

I will always be the virgin-prositute, the preverse angel, the two-faced sinister and saintly woman~

About Me

In Celebration of Morgan le FayI give my desires and dreams into Yourkeeping. By Air I create the seed.By Fire, I warm it.By Water, I nourish it. By Earth,I cause it to grow. From Spirit, I draw the powerto make all things possible. Join me in celebrationof the power of the Goddess~unknown~It is I, also known as Morgana, the queen of sorcery, transcendent of space and time. I cannot tell you how long I have lived, nor how many times I have been reborn. Most of you mortals know me best for the life I lived as the half-sister of King Arthur, fighting against his control to preserve the magical way of life. At the time it appeared that I was defeated, for the Druids and Wizards died out and were forgotten. But now, the work of over a thousand years has begun to bear fruit, as many have rediscovered the magic of the Earth and Sky, and there is growing fascination with ancient pagan beliefs and symbols. My soul resides in the Faerie Kingdom of Avalon, invisible to all but those who choose to believe. However, when my work requires me to live within the mortal world, I inhabit a mortal body for a human lifetime. For the moment, I am the alter-ego and truer self of the mortal Belle. I practice my magic the way I always have: employing the natural laws of the universe, keeping the deepest respect for the Earth and the worlds beyond. Magic has long since acquired the more "respectable" name of Science, but its beauty and power remain unchanged. Contrary to the slander of some narrow-minded, ignorant mortals, magic is not a black, evil art reserved for those who have sold their souls to Hell.Magic touches everyone, all the time; it always has and it always will. But most do not begin to realize the power that surrounds them, indeed fills them. Even the greatest wizards and sorceresses of all time do not fully comprehend its magnitude, and perhaps we never will. There are hints to my true identity in the character of my alter-ego: My voice tends to song, for my incantations are never simply spoken. I use crystals and stones in my myriad spells; I am a deadly archer and a daring adventurer. My love for nature leads me to be termed a "hippie." My apparent self is known to be "weird" and is often found in the company of other strange individuals (in truth, other wizards and such magical beings, disguised as mortals just as I am). I manifest myself most fully on All Hallow's Eve, the holiest night for magical revel, when all are free to be their natural selves.May the glory and power of the universe lend you strength this day and always~unknown~ Bendithion Afallon - Blessings of Avalon! She is, in fact, the great queen goddess, ruler of the mystical island of Avalon, the Fortunate Island of the Blessed Dead.Sometimes equated with the ancient Irish warrior goddess Morrigan, she is the Celtic death goddess. As Morgana Fata she is the controller of destinies and knows the fate of each person. She is noted for her healing powers, her knowledge of healing plants, and her prophetic vision. Like a shaman she is a shape-shifter, able to take on many forms.Morgan le Fay represents that deep place of healing magic within each of us—the center where wisdom and healing flow even in the moment of death. But WOMEN NEED SOLITUDE IN ORDER TO FIND AGAIN THE TRUE ESSENCE OF THEMSELVES~Anne Morrow Lindbergh"As I went to summon the barge, it seemed to me that the little dark people were all around me and that I walked among them as the priestess I had been. I stood in the barge alone, and yet I knew there were others standing there with me, robed and crowned, Morgaine the Maiden, who had summoned Arthur to the running of the deer and the challenge of the King Stag, and Morgaine the Mother who had been torn asunder when Gwydion was born, and the Queen of North Wales, summoning the eclipse to send Accolon raging against Arthur, and the Dark Queen of Fairy...or was it the death crone who stood at my side? And as the barge neared the shore, I heard the last of his followers cry, "Look–look, there, the barge with the four fair queens in the sunrise, the fairy barge of Avalon..." "And now, when the world has changed and Arthur- my brother, my lover, king who was and king who shall be- lies dead (the common folk say sleeping) in the Holy Isle of Avalon, the tale should be told as it was before the priests of the White Christ come to cover it all with thier saints and legends...And so Arthur lay at last, with his head in my lap, seeing in me neither sister, nor lover nor foe, but only wise woman, priestess, Lady of the Lake,' and so reasted upon the breast of the Great Mother from whom he came to birth and to whom at last, as all men, he must go"....Mists of Avalon~NO ONE CAN MAKE YOU FEEL INFERIOR WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT~Eleanor Roosevelt~ ~WELL-BEHAVED WOMEN RARELY MAKE HISTORY~Laurel Thatcher Ulrich~Man loves little and often; WOMEN much and rarely~ anonymous ~For most of history, ANONYMOUS was a woman~Virgina Wolf ~One is not born a woman, one BECOMES ONE~Simone De Beauvoir ~The connections between and among women are the most feared, the most problematic, and the most potentially transforming force on the planet~Adrienne Rich

My Interests

There were always in me, two women at least, one woman desperate and bewildered, who felt she was drowning and another who would leap into a scene, as upon a stage, conceal her true emotions because they were weaknesses, helplessness, despair, and present to the world only a smile, an eagerness, curiosity, enthusiasm, interest~Anais Nin~"I want ecstasy. I am a neurotic -- in the sense that I live in my world. I will not adjust myself to the world. I am adjusted to myself."~Anais Nin~**~LIVING NEVER WORE ONE OUT SO MUCH AS THE EFFORT NOT TO LIVE**~Anais Nin~MISS GUY...ON GLAMOUR:"Lot's of make-up, gorgeous hair, beautiful clothes, expensive shoes, feathers, glitter ME!"

I'd like to meet:

"I am an excitable person who only understands life lyrically, musically, in whom feelings are much stronger as reason. I am so thirsty for the marvelous that only the marvelous has power over me. Anything I can not transform into something marvelous, I let go. Reality doesn't impress me. I only believe in intoxication, in ecstasy, and when ordinary life shackles me, I escape, one way or another. No more walls."~Anais Nin~ *Man can never know the kind of loneliness a woman knows. Man lies in a woman's womb only to gather strength, he nourishes himself from this fusion, and then he rises and goes into the world, into his work, into battle, into art. He is not lonely. He is busy. The memory of the swim in amniotic fluid gives him energy, completion. The woman may be busy too, but she feels empty. Sensuality for her is not only a wave of pleasure in which she has bathed, and a charge of electric joy at contact with another. When man lies in her womb, she is fulfilled, each act of love a taking of man within her, an act of birth and rebirth, of child-bearing and man-bearing. Man lies in her womb and is reborn each time anew with a desire to act, to BE. But for woman, the climax is not in the birth, but in the moment the man rests inside of her*~Anais Nin~ "Oh, God, I know no joy as great as a moment of rushing into a new love, no ecstasy like that of a new love. I swim in the sky; I float; my body is full of flowers, flowers with fingers giving me acute, acute caresses, sparks, jewels, quivers of joy, dizziness, such dizziness. Music inside of one, drunkenness. Only closing the eyes and remembering, and the hunger, the hunger for more, more, the great hunger, the voracious hunger, and thirst."~Anais Nin~The beauty of this moment is in my freedom. My abundance of love able to live itself out, to keep eveyrone in a state of romance, to make each hour, each evening, each moment yield up to its fullness. To disperse and dispense tenderness, attentiveness, joy in living~Anais Nin~ I will not be just a tourist in the world of images, just watching images passing by which I cannot live in, make love to, possess as permanent sources of joy and ecstasy~Anais Nin~ .. ...Eroticism is one of the basic means of self-knowledge, as indispensible as poetry...The body is an instrument which only gives off music when it is used as a body. Always an orchestra, and just as music traverses walls, so sensuality traverses the body and reaches up to ecstasy~Anais Nin~~THE WORDS OF THE DARK GODDESS~"Hearken ye to the Words of the Dark Mother, who of old was called Hecate, Nuit, Morrigan, Banba, Erda, Macha, Mother Night, Sekhmet, and many other names: "Whenever you seek wisdom, at the time of the Darkening Moon, come together in love and trust and learn of Me, who am the Wisest of Crones.. Ye who search for the mysteries of the Earth... The secrets of Air and Darkness, of Blood and Fire, the silence of the uttermost stars, come unto me, and I shall whisper to you in the depths of midnight. Ye shall approach Me in silence, and as a sign that ye are free from fear, your breast you shall bare to My blade...for fear has no place in My Mysteries, and that which you seek of Me will destroy you if you fear it. For I am the dolmen arch beyond which stretch the mysteries of infinity. I am the silence before birth and after death. I am the clouded mirror in which you scry your own soul. I am mist in the twilight, the vast and starry sky of midnight, shadows on the Moon. All things come to Me in the end, and yet I am the beginning of all. I meet you at the Crossroads, I lead you through the darkness, My hand you grasp in the passage between the worlds. To those that toy with Me am I an instrument of self-destruction. Yet to the true seeker I bring knowledge beyond mortal comprehension. Of you shall I demand the utter truth of all that you are, and in return I shall give you all that you may be, all that I am. For My Wisdom is beyond the Ages, and knowledge of My Secrets is power over self, over fear, over death. Nor do I demand aught of you which you cannot give. For I am the Mother of Mysteries, and as you know Me, so shall you learn to know yourself". .."The Dark Goddess speaks to us, through the mouths of Lilith, Kali, Tiamet, Hekate, Nix, The Black Maddona, Nemesis, and Morgaine. "I am the Darkness behind and beneath the shadows. I am the absence of air that awaits at the bottom of every breath. I am the ending before life begins again, the decay that fertilises the living. I am the bottomless pit, the never-ending struggle to reclaim that which is denied. I am the key that unlocks every door. I am the glory of discovery, for I am that which is hidden, secluded and forbidden. Come to me at the Dark Moon and see that which can not be seen, face the terror that is yours alone. Swim to Me through the blackest oceans to the center of your greatest fears, the Dark God and I will keep you safe. Scream to us in terror, and yours will be the power to forbear. Think of me when you feel pleasure, and I will intensify it, until the time when I may have the greatest pleasure of meeting you at the Crossroads between the worlds." .."Wisdom and empowerment are the gifts of the Dark Goddess of Transformation. She is known to us as Kali, Hecate, Cerridwen, Lilith, Persephone, Fata, Morgana, Ereshkigal, Arianhrod, Durga, Inanna, Tiamat, and by a million, million other names: "Hear me child, and know Me for who I am. I have been with you since you were born, and I will stay with you until you return to Me at the final dusk. I am the passionate and seductive lover who inspires the poet to dream. I am the One who calls to you at the end of your journey. After the day is done, My children find their blessed rest in my embrace. I am the womb from which all things are born. I am the shadowy, still tomb; all things must come to Me and bare their breasts to die and be reborn to the Whole. I am the Sorceress that will not be ruled, the Weaver of Time, the Teacher of Mysteries. I snip the threads that bring my children home to me. I slit the throats of the cruel and drink the blood of the heartless. Swallow your fear and come to me, and you will discover true beauty, strength, and courage. I am the fury which rips the flesh from injustice. I am the glowing forge that transforms your inner demons into tools of power. Open yourself to my embrace and overcome. I am the glinting sword that protects you from harm. I am the crucible in which all the aspects of yourself merge together in a rainbow of union. I am the velvet depths of the night sky, the swirling mists of midnight, shrouded in mystery. I am the chrysalis in which you will face that which terrifies you and from which you will blossom forth, vibrant and renewed. Seek me at the Crossroads, and you shall be transformed, for once you look upon my face, there is no return. I am the fire that kisses the shackles away. I am the cauldron in which all opposites grow to know each other in Truth. I am the Web which connects all things. I am the Healer of all wounds, the Warrior who rights all wrongs in their Time. I make the weak strong. I make the arrogant humble. I raise up the oppressed and empower the disenfranchised. I am Justice tempered with Mercy. Most importantly, child, I am you. I am part of you, and I am within you. Seek me within and without, and you will be strong. Know me. Venture into the dark so that you may awaken to Balance, Illumination, and Wholeness. Take my Love with you everywhere and find the Power within to be who you wish" AUTHOR UNKNOWN

“There are several ways to climb a mountain and there are many paths to come down again. Even if you know them all, sometimes you reach the summit only to find that there are a hundred more mountaintops to conquer. That outlook is sacred to me. Wherever our life force is coming from, it couldn’t have originated from one particular religion. I grew up with the thesis there’s only one God, one religion, one road to the top. Very shortsighted!
