I do comedy. Yay!
Check me out at crackle.com. I’m there somewhere. I just can’t see it.
Contact me here or at [email protected]
People have mentioned me before, here’s what they’ve said :
"jane haze is the most worst person ever" - Doug Benson (@ aspecialthing.com)
"You are obviously the funniest comedian in Seattle." - Jeff Dye (posing as blargh at seattlecomedy.net)
"Jane Haze is ok if you like that sort of thing... and I do like that sort of thing." - Sean Ottey posting on my comments
"Jane Haze will return to Seattle, with dreadlocks and a copy of the Communist Manifesto tattooed" - Jeremy Whitman
"Jane Haze is a bad influence or possibly under the influence. Most likely both." - Kori Ono , rad person and cousin to Kristee.

My Interests

Travel. Southern Food. Tapitio. Mt. Biking. Playing music (gitfiddle, clarinet, recorder, etc.). Memories are pretty rocking. Comedy. People.
Cheers.

I'd like to meet:

Ian Wright - the traveler guy.

Everyone. Except the creepy people. Also not CEOs and Halliburton-type people unless I can kick them in the nards.

Gavin "My mayor's hotter than your mayor" Newsome
(not the chick.)

And finally:

Lady Salsa

This week's top whatever: Random friends.

Music:

Paul McCartney. Elvis Costello. Beatles, above all. Erin McKeown. Robbie Williams.
Then just a lot of other randomness.

Hannes Wader, 'ne bissel Groenemeyer. Kate Ryan. Reinhard Mey. Wir Sind Helden. The Beatsticks. Die Pudhys. Oomph. Rammstein. Billy Connolly and the Humblebums.

Coldplay (earlier stuff... they're starting to suck, even on my terms). Air. The Orb. Jamie Lidell. Goldfrapp. Fastball. Gem. Mystikal. Ming Tea. The Brian Setzer Orchestra. Cole Porter. Diana Krall. Allen Toussaint. Lucinda Williams. Frank Black and the Catholics. Stiff Little Fingers. Dead Kennedys. The zombies, the cyrkle, the association, looking glass. America. Arlo Guthrie. Gordon Lightfoot. Jackson Browne. That's right Gordon and Jackson.

Other random stuff from there, admittedly, it's mostly lame, but fun.

Song of the moment:
I'm Your Boyfriend Now- TMBG

Movies:

V for Vendetta. The Sound of Music. Help. Hook. TMNT II: Secret of the Ooze. History of the World: Part I. Swing Kids. Empire of the Sun. De-Lovely. French Kiss. The Millionairess. Donnie Darko. Air America. The Memphis Belle. Austin Powers (the first one). The Naked Gun Movies. Half-Baked. Gosford Park. Jane White is Sick and Twisted. Wizard of Oz. A Christmas Carol (Alistair Sim version). The Canterville Ghost (Laughton version). The Magic Christian. Lolita. In fact, most peter sellers movies. If not all.

other cool ones.

Television:

I used to be fond of it, till I discovered a thing called "live entertainment". You meet people, and there's no S&P board controlling what you hear and see. Very exciting.

But now when I do watch, History Channel. Deadwood. MythBusters, Late, Late show with the Craig Fergie. French & Saunders. "Whose line" (or once upon a time). ESPN's Sports Figures. Anytime I can catch PBS' showing of Monty Python stuff. Are you being served? Caroline in the City. The Nanny. Stand up on comedy central to find out what premises have been taken.

Books:

I'm a fan of them.

All Kerouac (except Visions of Cody). Ginsberg. Stephen Fry. e.e. cummings' works. Bucky Sinister. Poem's Old and New. Dr. Suess. 1984. Siddharta. Informational type stuff. A Writer's Reference. Lagenscheidt's French Quick and Easy. Lies My Teacher Told Me. Das Grosse Tafelwerk (the most awesomest-est book there ever could be...).

Honorable Mentions to Cormac McCarthy, Robert Louis Stevenson, Huxley, Vonnegut, and Goethe.

Heroes:

Derek & Clive. Shirley Temple.

Merry Jane Hazed Demos

So I've decided to record demos of some songs that I've written this week. Actually, the music I wrote last night or today. Quality is shitty, and there's odd breaks, but you can get the gist enough. ...

I’ve got weird and great luck. I don’t want to jinx it by pointing that out, but you know, I do. If you know me, you’ll probably back me up on this... hell, a few of you have told me...
