I began as a doodle in 1986, by illustrator-designer Graham Sale...
...Then in 1989 I debuted as my pink, pudgy, self. It was exciting. I was written about in newspapers, talked about on the radio and even received write-in votes for Governor of New Jersey! But the economy crashed and I vanished and was forgotten, or so I thought… It turns out people kept me alive all these years and have literally loved me into coming back!
