Band Website: I currently have no plans to make a website.
Band Members:
Mission Statement: I'm not a BAND! I'm just a person who likes to home record. I'm looking to collect as many fans, friends, venues, and musicians who are into the same music I love. I'm not on MySpace to HOOK UP! If you are interested in the same type of music and just want a place to help you locate upcoming shows, please join. All underground bands, fans, and friends are welcome. .
Unfortunately, MySpace has not taken into consideration those individuals like myself, who are not advertising a band, but are just joe-shmoes who like to dabble in home recording and would like to post his own music. Because of this, I've converted my account to a band account. This also will unfortunately not allow people to find me as easily in the search engine, and once I converted my account, I'm unable to convert it back to the traditional individual account. So, in the case of pure interest in friendship and the desire to collect as many people in the Indianapolis area, I will provide my own profile:
Orientation: Extremely disoriented...borderline vertigo
Sex: Male Age: 36 as of 10/28 2006
Here For: Friends, musicians, bands, and rockers who want to go to local shows and venues to support the scene. Anybody who wants to help establish an all-ages venue, please network here. You'll find some genuine interest here. Be sure to scroll down to see ads for local bands selling their music the comments people make. Again, MySpace has not thought out a layout that is conducive to my lifestyle.
My Birthday: 10/28/1970
Please ping me on my birthday! Nobody get's a warning that my birthday is coming up and I feel neglected as I get older.MySpace Purpose Statement: I'm here primarily to connect people to the local music scene here in Indianapolis, IN; Morgantown, WV; and Chapel Hill, NC. I'm not here for dating. Call me old fashioned, but I like to do that kinda thing the traditional way. I am here to meet some really cool people, and hope to bump into many of you at a show or two. If you have friends who are interested in local underground music, know of a band that falls into this genre, are in a band that falls into this genre, or know someone who owns a venue that supports the local scene, please forward them here. My intention is to continue to help the community solidify a great all-ages club in Indianapolis that is permanent, stable, and successful. If you have any suggestions, I'm all ears.
About Me:
I'm at a loss as to why Indiancrapolis doesn't have a better music
scene. Indy is the 12th largest city in the country. What's up with our music scene?
I am called by some, Georgius, by most George, by drunk people "Georgie,"
and by a very few, "Jorge T. Nelson" Why? Fuck if I know! I guess I'm a man of many faces and names.
My Physical Appearance Is Overwhelmed by My Innards:
I'm profoundly average; (if I may borrow from Polvo) I'm
decorated on the inside. I fought many wars and lost more than I've won, yet I'm recognized and rewarded by the many about whom I affectionately care. I like to rock. Yeah that's right. I like to rock out. I really appreciate Mexican and Greek food (also Sushi), but only if I'm not bloated, flatulent, or extremely wasted. There are always exceptions. I sometimes like to play baseball, but I hate watching it. I hate to play golf and watch it, and I love to watch football, but hate playing it unless it's two-hand touch, or coed-tackle. . . ahhhhh College football. . .
Go: : Mountaineers: .
The People with Whom I Share:
I like anyone who wears a baseball cap every now and then. It's just a trend
I've noticed. Both men and women who don't wear baseball caps seem to be kind of stuffy. On the other hand, people who constantly wear baseball caps tend to be obnoxious. Could be me . I don't know. In fact, I like people who wear hats in general, the wackier the bettah! I need to wear hats more often I think. If I were given a 4th wish by a genie (one I could waste), I'd wish for a closet full of different hats and wigs. Man . . . write that down . . . a hat party. . .
Things I Like:
I like anything fresh and different, unless it's exotic food, in which case I prefer fresh. I salute bold humor. I'm quite infatuated with women who will
break into collqiualisms using different accents and dialects for fun, upon
request, in public places, and during serious conversations. Above all, I spend most of my life searching for people who can walk into a room, with a flag sticking out of the crack of their ass without a second thought of the
consequences. Let Your Freak Flag Fly! I like to be the unexpected surprise. BOO! All elbows 'n giggles, I talk to perfect strangers as if they're close friends, and on rare occasions, to best friends as if perfect strangers. I am somewhat shy at times, and outgoing at others. I have anxiety and depression and I love it. I love being a loser. I wouldn't have it any other way. I like beer--PBR to Guinness, it doesn't matter as long as the convo is cool. Big Macs to Sushi, cheeseball to prophetic I am a shiny coin in a port-o-potty.

I listen to a book or 2 a week. Long commute to the northside to work. Unfortunately, I don't pay attention to the authors unless I know them or I really, really like them. Eco. Although I've read many great books, I'm waiting to read the best book I've ever read.
I'm Influenced by mother fuckin' cool independent people who are artists. I
love you people and I hope you stick with the music scene here. It has suffered
greatly due to monopolistic ownerships of venues. Broadripple has been raped. I
moved to Greenwood so I could get to the city, where most of the good
underground venues seem to be. I'm in constant search for underground venues. So
far the ones I've discovered are
1. Melody Inn
2. Radio Radio
3.. Locals Only (a venue on the north east side of town, around
Keystone and 50 something. Food is great. . . venue is really small and divish, but has a great selection of beers)
4. Knights of Columbus across from Birdys (saw Fugazi there)
5. The Vogue (Makes me wanna puke for the most part, but occasionally
gets a great band.
6. The Murat (expensive but of high quality)
7. The Emerson (an all ages venue with terrible acoustics)
8 Birdy's (trendy but occasionally has a good show)
9. Luna on the north side (has some shows in the afternoon which are
worth checkin' out).
10. Second Story (Bloomington)
Hopefully More to Come as I discover them.
