Sage Stallone

Director, Actor, and Distributor. Raised on film sets around the world, never had a childhood. In my early teens I became assistant to many (bad) directors and (good) cinematographers, so I learned the ways of Hollywood early in life. Was kicked out of film school because I'd gathered more knowledge than the instructors. I proved it publicly and quickly got the boot. Immediately afterwards I boarded a plane bound for Italy to be with my heros Lenzi, Deodato, Margheriti, and my ultimate hero Lucio Fulci who became like family to me. After a long period in Rome I returned to America with their films in hand (which no one wanted to distribute), so I founded "GRINDHOUSE RELEASING". The company was solely dedicated to preserving these brilliant Eurofilms. I called friend/editor Bob Murawski (technical genius) to help out...so begins Grindhouse 1996. Now, I myself have turned to directing. In 06' I completed "Vic", a sad drama which gathered a few awards for which I am grateful. Thanks to everyone who believed in me and Grindhouse throughout the years. -S
