We don’t have a single driving liscense between the four of us, but somehow we’ve gigged all around Wales and crossed the border. With not enough time, too much college, uni, school, jobs, girlfriends, boyfriends, party habits and neighbours who complain about the ‘noise’ it’s pretty fucking cool how cool we are… and how determined we’ve been to keep this together. We’re just like all other bands really, exept that we’ve got a 13 year old drummer, a hairy monster on bass, the sexiest thing to ever come back from the dead on guitar and a frontwoman who can’t keep in time to save her own life and thinks she’s Elvis Presley’s fridge, it’s fucking brilliant. If you don’t like marmite you’ll probably like us. If you like ice cream you’ll probably like us too. If you like ice cream and marmite together you will DEFINETLY LOVE US!

We formed many days ago in the summer of 2006, our line-ups seem to change as often as the guitars Efa keeps smashing. We’ve been praised and brought down by the welsh press, we’re the good, the bad, the ugly all in one. We play more gigs than we do band practices, which makes it all the more exiting for us and you – we’re unrehearsed, unexpected, exiting and entertaining. You never know what will happen when we’re on stage, and you never will unless you make it down to one of our shows! Too many young bands are competing these days – who has the most expensive drum kit? Who can play the fastest solo? Who has the most friends to make them look like they’ve got a fan base when they don’t? We don’t compete, we don’t have expensive drum kits, we don’t play solos and anyone who’s at our shows is there out of their own choice not because we asked, begged, paid them to be there. DI fucking Y. We’re young, original, energetic and colourful, full of things to say, ideas to tell you about and catchy grungey pop songs, influenced by everything she’s ever heard from Dolly Parton to Rancid to Pendulum, Efa is more comfortable on stage showing off to anyone taking notice than anywhere else. This isn’t a job – it never will be. We do this with a genuine passion and drive. Fuck your money. Fuck your sex. Fuck your drugs. Fuck your rock’n’roll. This is The Stilletoes!!.Wanna buy our music?
