"First to face the firing line were Monte Cassino who qualified as a highest scoring runner up to gain their semi final slot. After an unusual off day in their heat the band had a point to prove and with style and penache they delivered a set of epic proportions. With shameless swagger and an air of confidence Monte delivered arguably their best set in recent times, whipped the front rows into a frenzy and left everyone on a high. Some inch perfect guitar work also made a good impression on any musician watching, meaning any band hoping to win would have to top that."
