About Me

Thanks for viewing my profile! Even if you disagree with my views, I hope it inspires you to get out and DO something! My name is Bean and my profile is still under construction but should be finished soon so check it regularly for updates! I created this site with the help of:
so click the flag and check out their profile biotches! Spread the word.............. *Activist Resources : By far the best way to get the word out about your political concerns is ACTIVISM. Even though sitting around and talking about how crappy things are (and designing political MySpace profiles) seems to make a difference, activism beats these two actions by a long shot. As we all know, preaching to the choir won't solve nearly as many problems as will preaching to the disbelievers. Now, the word "activism" currently carries a lot of unfair stigmas, such as that "activists" are "unAmerican" or "un-patriotic." If one were to think about it a little more and put two and two together, however, one would most likely conclude that activism is very much both American and patriotic. In fact, if it weren't for activists throughout history, we'd be in much worse shape than we are today. That stated, we've prepared a list of various activist (and non-profit) groups from around the country that one can get involved with. Aside from the expression of political ideals, activism can lead to other positive things, such as friendships, job opportunities and the chance to learn more about oneself! Become a volunteer or intern for one of these groups and start taking advantage of a great opportunity:Idealist.org
