The National Arbor Day Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Nebraska City, Nebraska, dedicated to inspiring people to plant, nurture and celebrate trees. Real, tangible results are what members and supporters see happen with their donations. In addition to planting over 11 million trees each year, the Foundation directs many other programs including Rain Forest Rescue, saving tropical forests with shade-grown coffee methods, Nature Explore, connecting children to the environment at an early age, and Tree City USA, inspiring communities across the United States to improve their urban forestry practices, among other programs.
