This MySpace page has been set up to remind friends in and out of the area of special events and neat things going on at the zoo.There is much more to the Utica Zoo than you may realize! Not only is it a great place to visit in the summer, but some of our animals are even more active and playful in the winter! Plus, admission is free (until April 1).Annual special events include: Snowfari (February), Easter Eggstravaganza (April), Wine in the Wilderness (June), Brewfest (August), Java in the Jungle (September), Spooktacular (October), and Holiday Hoot (December). There are many other events year-round as well, including rummage sales, craft fairs, and various "kid-themed" days.Let the Utica Zoo help you host a birthday party for a member of your family! (See our photos page for great photographs of a birthday party in February, 2007.) Zoo memberships make a perfect gift for someone special, and you can adopt any animal at the zoo for yourself or anyone else who cares about animals. We're always looking for new volunteers to join our Junior Docent Program (teenagers 14-17) and Adult Docent Program (ages 18 and up).You can learn much more about the zoo by visiting our official web page.
