BlackMic Radio was created on May 23, 2003, We originally were looking to just provide music to our VoiceChat room back then, but the station got very popular and we expanded for this newly discovered listening audience, we even recieved a nomination for "Best Rap Station" on live365 in 2004. but by late 2005 we were off the air for personal reasons, after that hiatus we returned on Black August 1, 2006 Stronger and Blacker Than Ever!!
