About Me

I'm 22, LOVIN' the music (mostly old rock, but other shit's awesome too). I play drums, guitar, some piano, do some vocals, some trumpet, some sax.....there's more, but I'm tired...ummm, I was at Bishop's University, which was kool. Now I'm back in Ottawa. I have a very weird and twisted sense of humour (like my entire family). I had a band called Various Artists that broke up right near the end of June 2004, I'm very short (and yes, DO get made fun of for it...lol)(5 feet, btw). I write stories, though not as often as I used to, I just started writing songs on my own (Various Artists' songs were all originals but we wrote them as a group). I was in an all girl band called Revv Engine for a little while that did mostly covers...ranging from STP to Black Sabbath. I did the drums for the 2 original songs that are up on their page if you want to hear a semi-professional recording of me on the drums. Now, I rock out (on drums) with The Sin Kickers, The MoonMovement, and Claudia; and am writing songs for my solo project. My Interests

Well, this IS interesting.....I basically wrote everything I should've written in here in the About Me section... ...

I'd like to meet:

Are you kidding me?! First of all, there are a LOT of people I'd like to meet. Secondly, the main one is EXTREMELY obvious! Go Axl Rose!!!! Ok, so who else..? Umm, Sarah Michelle Gellar, James Marsters... (well, basically, the whole cast of Buffy), Slash, Eddie Van Halen, Motley Crue...ok, so lots and lots of bands basically.

Music:

GUNS N' ROSES all the way, man!!! Old rock, by which I mean 60s, 70s, lots of 80s and early 90s...I do like some new music, but not as much. Can't mess with Led Zep, Van Halen, Pantera, Metallica, Motley Crue, KISS, Incubus (for a newer band), .....You know, I could go on listing these all day...but don't worry, I won't....you kinda get the idea...

Movies:

Movies...that's a tough one....there are sooo many good movies out there and when asked about movies, I can never think of them....you ever notice that? Ok, well, I really liked American History X (for a more serious kind of movie), the Back To The Future trilogy KILLS!!! (thanks Kate), The Usual Suspects is awesome, Donnie Darko kicked it real good, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore (MOST Adam Sandler movies are hilarious), the Nightmare On Elm Street series (good old Freddy with the slice n' dice), Oliver Twist (both musical and not),... I dunno...there are LOTS more...lol.

Television:

LOST!!!, Buffy, Angel, Simpsons are HILARIOUS (well not the new eps so much), Family Guy's pretty funny, Seinfeld rocks, i wish Are You Afraid Of Dark? was still on...that show was awesome, Malcolm In The Middle, Fresh Prince, Home Improvement, Student Bodies, Punky Brewster....ok, I'm gonna stop now....;)

Books:

Uhhh...not much time for reading right now. I'm a fan of Stephen King and Michael Crichton and I'm into the Outlander series.

Heroes:

In what sense....musically, Axl Rose (lots of stuff), Slash (guitarist), Neil Peart(drummer), Claude Lavergne(jazz drummer), Geordie (my bro/guitarist)...not just musically for him though..he rocks anyways...so does my other bro, Anthony (Roo). Or did this just mean like famous people?...whatever....I actually find I look up to people I know - certain friends - a lot more than celebs...is that normal? for instance, Kate, Chrissy, Sandy, Andy...others as well.
