Live @ 215 is a Live Music Cafe on Sharrowvale Road in the vibrant Hunters Bar area of Sheffield.
Over the past 2 years we have had live music events including African Drumming, Blackthorn - an Irish folk duo from Belfast; the Blues Review; Fish Percussion Duo; from Manchester.
Most recently we have heard from guitar virtuoso Michael Berk, Radio 2 Folk Award nominees Damien OKane and Shona Kipling, African drumming group Unbeatable Energy and also the Porter Blues Project. We have also enjoyed relaxing Jazz from Sheffield based band Night and Day; and Lloyds Band; plus stunning vocals from Liverpool singer Rachael Wright. In May we enjoyed more Irish folk with session group Heads. This is what some people said about Live @ 215

The end of 2007 was an exciting time as we hosted the Robin Hoare Band, local bands The Way and Philippa Hanna, plus seeing the return of Rachael Wright from Liverpool who was as a great a hit this time as she was previously. 2008 promises to be just as exciting. With the John Ellis Trio in January who went down a storm when they played in July with their mix of Jazz and Soul (listen out for one of the best renditions of Jimi Hendrix's 'Little Wing') and the return of Shona Kipling and Damien O'Kane in February. April boasts another performance by 'Unbeatable Energy' plus a new line up of 'Doc Brown (and the Delorians of Sound).
In May we will be hearing from Scottish Folk artist Emily Smith.

Live @ 215 is run by 'The Crowded House' (not the band) which is a group of networks of churches in Sheffield, Loughborough and beyond.
