Stop kissing ass and START KICKING IT!!!

About Me

I am the vocalist for the Charlottesville-based metal band Caustic Bloodline, an ex-Marine and practicing (albeit somewhat unorthodox) Mormon with a wicked, bloody sense of humor and more mental issues than you can shake a stick at. An avid reader, I tend to philosophize, argue and/or wax poetic about anything and everything. I love ANYTHING that tackles the strengths and weaknesses of the human condition, psychological extremes and quirks, and how to transcend them.I tend to be open with my opinions, often to the point of bluntness...buyer beware!!! While I'm open minded and willing to learn, I will still go for the throat if I know I'm right, or if I think something is extraordinarily obvious (and I like to fight). Hey, it's the Marine in me. Or maybe it's the me in the Marine......

Your Theme Song is Back in Black by AC/DC

"Back in black, I hit the sack,
I've been too long, I'm glad to be back"
Things sometimes get really crazy for you, and sometimes you have to get away from all the chaos.
But each time you stage your comeback, it's even better than the last! What's Your Theme Song?
You Are Creepy
Serial killers would run away from you in a flash. How Scary Are You?
You scored as XVI: The Tower, If badly aspected this can be the worst card of the Tarot deck. The Tower always indicates upheavel, possibly chaos, loss and destruction. Its effects are never pleasant and can be painful. The card illustrates lightning striking the Tower. The lightning cannot be avoided, the destruction it brings is inevitable. All we can do is attempt to survive and rebuild. The Tower brings sudden, severe change. When the Tower appears in a Tarot spread it represents sudden and possibly violent change, disruption or loss.

My Interests

I live for blood, guts, gore, B-movies and HEAVY METAL - any and all forms of it. That and sugar. Lots o' sugar....

And this:

I'd like to meet:

Honest folks who dig music as much as I do, musicians, especially female ones, anyone who can teach me new things. People who are DIFFERENT, weird, etc. People who have balls (figuratively speaking), folks who go against the grain.

Music:

Tons o' metal, mostly thrash and death. Any and all Devin Townsend projects (SYL!!!!!), anything with Danny Elfman...anything with Zdenka Prado...Mike Patton (who must be listed as his own separate entity)...Faith No More, Sepultura, Suicidal Tendencies, Crisis, Metallica up to and including Justice, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Twisted Sister, Blood Hag, In Flames, Garden of Shadows, Exodus, Anthrax...and lately, a touch of SWING! (yes, I said swing...)

Remember this?

VAMPIRA!!!
.."425" height="350"

Ooooohhh yeah...
.."425" height="350"

Movies:

Horror, comedy.

Sugar Hill (the Don Pedro Colley one, NOT the one with what's-his-face), Cemetery Man, Shaun of the Dead, Redneck Zombies, Silence of the Lambs, Tank Girl, Faster Pussycat Kill Kill, The Big Lebowski, Mobsters and Mormons, The Ginger Snaps movies, The Princess Bride, Requiem for a Dream, My Fellow Americans, Bulworth, Pirates of the Carribean, Dead Alive (well, most Peter Jackson...), most Pixar flicks, stop motion, cartoons (NO ANIME)...

Television:

On DVD only (I loathe television): CSI (the original), Titus, Firefly, Family Guy, The Muppet Show. Twin Peaks. Educational stuff.

Books:

Hugo and Josephine by Maria Gripe, A Marvelous Work and A Wonder by LeGrand Richards, Alice in Wonderland, Children of the Flames, When Rabbit Howls, Lisa Bright and Dark. Anything about Lizzie Borden (damn it, the maid did it!) Dan Simmons, Stephen King, Clive Barker, Brian Hodge...horror, mystery, true crime, psycho thriller & psycho-reality, anything that expresses a knowledge of the human condition, pain, suffering, transcendence...oh, and of course, my trusty Book o' Mormon.

Heroes:

(If there IS such a thing) Devin Townsend, Mike Patton.
