About Me

I'm a published author of various short stories and poetry in horror, fantasy and scidnce fiction, plus the monfiction ghost book, Haunted Richmond, Virginia, both under my name, Pamela K. Kinney, and under my pseudonym, Sapphire Phelan. As Pamela, I write horror, fantasy, science fiction and Haunted Richmond. I also have achapbook of four fictional ghostly tales, Beyond the Four Walls, published by Naked Snake Press. As Sapphire, I write erotic paranormals, fantasy and science fiction as Sapphire Phelan . I'm also an actress, though been a while since done any acting, both on stage and film. About me basically: I read in the same genres I write in, plus even more. I'm married--since 1977 to a real good guy. I collect anything ..ons-my fave mythological creature. Favorite supernatural monster is the werewolf. L]I love Oriental and Mexican food and like to bake. I sew and wear costumes--from Star Wars (I'm member of Rebel Legion, Jedi Assembly and 501st (which hubby is member of 501st, too) to pirates to LOTR to historical and more--wearing mainly at conventions. I do crafts. I exercise at Curves--have lost weight and inches. I also like to horse back ride, both Western and English, though haven't in a while. I was born in Omaha, Nebraska, grew up in California (both northern and southern) and lived in Virginia since 1985. My Interests

I enjoy reading science fiction, fantasy, horror and paranormal romance, watch the same genres in film and TV shows (also enjoy comedy too and animal films). I also enjoy cooking and eating Mexican and Oriental food, baking, horse back rising (both Western and English), my cat, Ripley and my Siberian Husky, Indiana Jones (Indy for short), and my husband, Bill. I enjoy Star Wars, Babylon 5, Firefly/Serenity, the new Dr. Who. Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, Kolchak the Night Stalker, Dark Shadows, and more TV Shows and movies. I also sew and wear costumes to scifi conventions and events--since 1973. I also do crafts--like make my own wreaths and more. And I also enjoy exercising. Everything but Country and Death Metal, though I like a couple female Country artists, Like Shania Twain and Reba McIntire.

Serenity, Van Helsing, the two Dark Shadows movies, all the Star Wars films, though ESB the best, both Pirates of the Caribbean movies out, all pirate films, The Haunting (1963), Batman Begins, Superman the Movie, Superman II and Superman Returns, both Spiderman movies that been out so far, Dracula (Bela Lugosi), Cat People (the 1940s one and the '80s one), Dog Soldiers, An American Werewolf in London, The Wolfman, Ginger Snaps and Ginger Snaps 2, The Howling, Day the earth Stood Still, The Night Stalker and The Night Strangler, The Mummy and Mummy 2, Abbott and Costello Meet Frankestein, LOTR Trilogy, Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (Disney), all of Vincent Price movies, King Kong ( original and Peter Jackson version), Beast From 20, 000 Fathoms and all Ray Harryhausen films, Godzilla (original from 50s to 60s) and Rodan (first film), John Carpenter films, Sixth Sense, Dragoncslayer, all dragfon movies, and lots more .
