Biagio Coppa

I am an Italian sax player and composer actively involved in jazz music and dealing with contaminations with other musical genres and the arts. Im at the present working at an original project, called ANASTOMOSI , based on the attempt to make Afro-American avant-garde coexist with the European avant-garde. Im perfectly aware of the fact that is not a new attempt and it has not always been successful in the past but I think I managed to mix up and balance the available contemporary musical elements and to create consistent structures attracting the attention of the listener.
