About Me
I was born in Rwanda and spent my first 16 years there – I survived the awful genocide whereas my entire family did not. Thankfully, a family from Cape Town adopted me and they gave me the love and support I needed to become whole again. I managed to do very well in school and eventually managed to come to America and attend Stanford University where I am now an Ethics Professor.
My Interests
I love the written word and I read everything I can get my hands on. Books are what saved my mind and soul from going crazy during the darker times. They allowed me to escape and for that I am eternally grateful.
