hey there...i'm Britt...or Redbird(my alias when it comes to art)....long story behind that one...but it goes way way back.i'm an artist...but besides that....i'm a 21 year old beauty school drop-out,trying to find my place in this world.a little background: i've been drawing since before i can remember.i showed talent at a very young age.my grandma is a painter who's also done almost every art related job you can think of...she's my hero.i've had many breaks in my life...more recently...where i haven't drawn at all...and they were very depressing times.drawing what i want to draw,makes me happy.even if my mom thinks that nobody would buy the kind of things i draw.in high school,i took every art related class i could take...no language class for me....just art.i was able to use my in yearbook...and also with many other endeavors...such as,designing t-shirts for the elementary school,my dad's squadron...and shirts in my silk screening (ROP) class.since high school,i took classes at ventura college,painted faces at fairs and birthday parties...halloween....and just for fun.when my parents moved to PA,i moved up to santa maria to go to cosmetology school....did that for about 7 months....but it took a real toll on me and my life...and i didn't really learn anything about what i wanted to learn about.i did lots of awesome experiments with hairstyles...but what i really wanted to learn about was make-up...but,turns out...i already knew about a hundred times more about make-up,than what they taught me.now i just started drawing again...and it's making me happy,so...i'm definitely gonna keep it up...wanna improve my skills...i used to get better every year...so we'll see what happens.i'm starting this page...well,cuz i want to...and a bunch of friends and family wanted me to.....too:)anyway i hope you all enjoy my work... width="425" height="350" ..
