Jenny Gabrielsson Mare (miss Mare) plays rock'n'roll with lots of energy;
always with passion at heart and rebellion in her eyes.
Her lyrics tend to be about love, sex, queeractivism & rock'n'roll.
In 2004 she ran into a couple of lady musicians and formed
'One Very Slutty Orchestra'.
One V.S.O. is miss Mares very own slutty orchestra.
Five lovely ladies playing and it is promiscuous, beautiful and
it is theatrical.
In the summer of 2005 One V.S.O. played in Oslo at Europride
and that summer Jenny Gabrielsson Mare was awarded with the
'The International Lesbian & Gay Cultural Networks' 'Orfeo Musica
award 2005'.
Right now she's also in the process of forming a new project - Jenny Gabrielsson Mare Extravaganza! Teaming up with Daniel Gabrielsson on accordion and bass, Terra Tiger on clarinet & Annika Bränberg on drums enhancing the theatricalness, the cabaretness & the beauty.
Miss Mare has done several shows, with or without orchestras, including Ladyfest in Turku, Europride Oslo, the Rainbow festival in Vaasa, The first ever Pride Celebration in Moscow, the Shame festival & Cabaret Tupilak in Stockholm & UmeOpen in Umeå.
Jenny's songs have nerve and are driven,
the lyrics are intense and the stageperformances are strong.
