I'm an electronic engineer working in the private sector serving the TV/Radio broadcasting industry.
I'm stupid, stubborn, dumb, but loving person !
I love music; like all kinds.
I play the drums or at least I'm trying to hehe. I was given the chance to play with many bands in the past and did a few gigs. I always try to practice as much as time allows me and at the same time, helping friends in projects with drum parts in songs.
At home I practice on a Roland TD6 electronic kit which I connect to my PC through MIDI and use xlnaudio's "addictive drums", fxpansion's "BFD" and toontrack's "DFH supperior" drum samples.
After almost 10 years of me playing the drums being self taught I decided it was about time I took some proper lessons. I have to relearn a lot of stuff since I didn't pick them up properly in the beginning. I'm a drum student at
Modern Music School in Athens taking private lessons from
Mike Kapilidis.
It is no intention of me to get professional about it but playing music helps balance your inner self, a never ending journey into the unknown.
I'm currently playing with "Muddy Roads" band, a mixture of blues with influences from old greek rebetico songs.
always open to new friends especially females ! Always trying to find my other half :) Aren't we all ?
I'm also open to music fans and musicians always interested to listen to new things ...
In the past I used to be an electronica DJ playing House, Trance and Techno with a little bit of scratching to wind other people up :)
